Following suggestions, an initial contact mailing was sent out on 12 February to ascertain if there was sufficient interest in a "50th year since we started at MGS" reunion.

Currently I've had 22 replies of which 21 were confirmed/interested/probable and 1 was away on that date but remains interested. 96 mails were sent, 11 bounced and 24 have not yet been opened. At this stage, the contact has been limited to those on the email list.

Based on the last reunion, I would expect to gather many more names if a date is confirmed.

I suggest we confirm the dates and form a small group to organise the event. The group, including someone based locally needs to consider :

• Structure - formal dinner, buffet, drinks ?
• Location - Morecambe, other ?
• Lunch, dinner ?
• Saturday, Sunday ?
• Venue - Vale of Lune, Midland, Golf Club, other ?
• Phone contacts ?
• Independent contacts ?
• Costs ?

A further mailing has gone out to gather more suggestions and seek volunteers to join the organising group.
